We specialize in the recovery and processing of logs that sank in the rivers during the logging period of 1700-1950's. Today these fine grained, old growth logs are extremely rare and available only in limited quantities. We take great care to recover the sunken logs one at a time by hand. Our goal is to produce top quality lumber and value-added wood products without cutting a single tree or using chemicals in the manufacturing process. Every log we recover saves two to three live trees from our already depleted forests.
These rare virgin trees are among the most attractive and durable hardwoods on the market today. They are gaining popularity, being used for fine instruments, flooring, furniture and architectural millwork in places from Martha's Vineyards to the president's club box in Calgary's 'Saddledome'.
